For getting ABA Accreditation Certificate Lawyer have to: - Provide evidence of substantial involvement in a specialty area. - Pass the exam, which cover the substantive and procedural law in a specific area. - Provide recommendations from lawyers and judges. - Be admitted to practice in at least one state and have a good standing. - Show the succeeding in at least 36 hours of legal education courses in the specialty area in the three-year period which precede the lawyer’s application for certification.
