Creative Journal Expressive Arts Method is a program for certification to teach and coach others using Dr. Capacchione's. Completion enables professionals to apply and integrate Dr. Capacchione's methods. It can be in their on-going work. Moreover they may create an adjunct practice in coaching, teaching and group leadership in the Method.

The Level One – training is work and study program. Such program can be completed in one year. Level Two – intensives. It is offered advanced theory and techniques for certified instructors. Such program is for those who have graduated from Level One. Also there is available continuing Education Units. Field Supervision. Field supervision includes reading assignments, marketing and project coaching.

Program includes:
•  interview with Dr. Capacchione
•  2 week-long training intensives (1 week at start and 1 at end of program)
•  45 hours of assisting at Dr. Capacchione's public workshops
•  ongoing personal growth work using Creative Journal Expressive Arts process
•  field work supervised by Dr. Marsha Nelson
•  certified trainer visit to observe trainee's field work
•  case study/documentation of field work

Areas of study during the intensives include:
•  Creative Journal methodology and techniques
•  Applications of the method in education and all areas of health care
•  Expressive Arts as medicine, Body/Mind work
•  Inner Child/Inner Family work originated by Dr. Capacchione
•  Multi-media exploration in movement, sound, music, drama, Voice Dialogue, visual art, sculpture, poetry, collage and more
•  Integration of Expressive Arts Therapy with other modalities
•  Meditation and spiritual practice techniques
•  Visioning
•  Business and marketing for professionals
